The Island of Hiva Oa

Most of the guided tours on Marquesas are done via four-wheel drive vehicle, or by foot. Three- and eight-day drive excursions are available, including meals and equipment. Hiking tours are offered in a variety of packages.

Hiking Tours
Take part in a serpertine hike offering dizzying views by signing up for the Hanavave Village to Omoa hiking tour. The village, located on the Bay of Virgins, is the starting point for a wonderful trek to Omao Village. Bring plenty of water and allot at least four hours for the walk.
